1. Overview

PolyPulse is a browser extension that integrates Polymarket prediction market data into social media platforms. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data we handle.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.

PolyPulse operates as a client-side application. All data processing happens locally in your browser.

3. Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

• Wallet data: Your encrypted private key and mnemonic phrase (AES-256-GCM encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation). This data never leaves your device.
• API credentials: Authentication tokens for Polymarket's CLOB API, stored in encrypted form.
• User preferences: Settings and configuration options.
• Price alerts: Your configured price alert thresholds.

4. Third-Party Services

PolyPulse communicates with the following third-party APIs to provide its functionality:

• Polymarket APIs (polymarket.com): Market data, order execution, position information.
• Binance API (binance.com): Cryptocurrency USD price data.
• CoinGecko API (coingecko.com): Cryptocurrency price data.
• Polygon RPC nodes: Blockchain interactions for wallet operations.

5. Cloudflare Worker Proxy

We use a Cloudflare Worker as a proxy for certain API calls (Builder Program). This proxy:

• Does not log or store request data
• Does not track users or sessions
• Exists solely to keep API keys secure (not exposed in the extension bundle)

6. Blockchain Transactions

When you execute trades through PolyPulse, transactions are submitted to the Polygon blockchain. These transactions are public and permanent by nature of blockchain technology. Your wallet address and transaction history are publicly visible on the blockchain.

7. Website Access

PolyPulse's content script runs on X (twitter.com / x.com) to inject prediction market buttons into tweets. The extension:

• Only reads post content to extract keywords for market search
• Does not modify, store, or transmit your browsing activity
• Does not access your social media account credentials
• Does not read or send direct messages

8. Data Security

• Private keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM
• Password-based key derivation uses PBKDF2 with 100,000 iterations
• Session keys are stored in Chrome's session storage (cleared when browser closes)
• No sensitive data is ever transmitted in plaintext

9. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Delete: Use the "Delete Wallet" option in Settings, or uninstall the extension
• Export: View your seed phrase and private key in Security settings
• Portability: Your wallet can be imported into any Ethereum-compatible wallet

10. Children

PolyPulse is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly process data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
